OUR STAFF

Scott is originally from Westerville, Ohio, which is a suburb of Columbus.  He moved to Birmingham, Alabama in order to attend college at Samford University; and while there, he met his bride, Kristy.  They were married in 1994 and immediately moved to Fort Worth, Texas where they would spend the next twelve years while Scott finished up his two master's degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

 

Following this time in Texas, Scott and Kristy moved to their first lead pastorate role in Alabama and were blessed to serve there for seven years.  It was at that time the Lord placed a calling on Scott’s heart to come to FBC, Bowling Green.  He has been our lead minister since November of 2013.

 

While Scott has been a part of our church family, his personal family has grown in size.  Scott and Kristy were blessed to adopt three beautiful sisters from Costa Rica in the summer of 2015.  Some of Scott’s hobbies, besides hanging out with his family, are playing ping pong, bowling, reading, watching movies, hiking and going to theme parks like Disney World.

 

Scott’s desire is for all Christ-followers to reach their full potential in service to the Lord and he strives to model this for the church body of FBCBG.
